Dog Trainer University is based in Holland, Michigan, with training opportunities throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area. Our West Michigan location is ideal for professional dog training because it offers a variety of real-world environments. Is housing included in the cost?

No, housing is not included. We offer assistance in finding temporary housing around the Holland area. There are numerous housing options throughout West Michigan.

Can I bring my own dog?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to bring your own dog. Having your dog with you will allow you to get extra practice in and allow you to have a fully trained dog you can showcase for your new dog training business.

Do you hire graduates from Dog Trainer University?

Yes! Once you complete our Professional Dog Trainer Certification Program in Holland, you’ll have the opportunity to join our team as a paid trainer. If you choose to work with us for at least one year after graduation, we’ll reimburse your tuition in full — making your education completely free. It’s our way of investing in our students and giving them a clear path to start their careers right here in West Michigan or wherever they’d like to train.

Can my tuition really be free?
