That’s why the core curriculum of Dog Trainer University provides students with the knowledge and tools to become a professional dog trainer through a heavy focus in hands-on real world experience with multiple dogs each day. The hands-on learning is supplemented by discussions and classroom work.

On a daily basis each student will the have the opportunity to work side by side with a professional dog trainer. The students will learn various styles, methods, and theories of obedience training while getting real world experience with numerous dogs. Students will practice their obedience skills around various real world distractions in the Memphis area.

Basic 6 week Program – Become a Professional Dog Trainer

This program is designed to help students become professional dog trainers by giving them a great deal of real world hands-on experience. Students will have the opportunity to work with multiple dogs in both on and off leash obedience as well as behavioral problem solving.
